Tampico is a natural fiber that is acid resistant. It is used in cleaning, washing, degreasing and scrubbing applications. Plater brushes are similar to scratch brushes, but constructed of a finer filament/wire diameter of 0.005 or 0.006. They are used for cleaning in the plating and metal finishing process.
